Garden City Project: The Gentrification of a small Idaho town.
Photographer Susan Valiquette and writer, Ben Murray, begin an exploration of the changing profile of Garden City, ID. By seeking out long term residents and business owners of the Live Work Create District they strive to assess the social and personal costs paid by those often least able to affect the urban renewal process, but whose lives will be forever altered.This ongoing project will track the impact of gentrification over the next few years.
